One doesn't listen to MANGLED STATE so much as be harmed by them. Post Mortem Convulsion from this Denver/Houston band leaves one feeling that at any moment you will break out in delirium, nausea, paralysis, and seizures. With acerbic sandpaper production and vocals reduced to the fidelity of a blowtorch, one is left wondering how music could sound any more damaged and still be discernible. MANGLED STATE have found this line, and tread it masterfully.
